The Food Bank provides a vital link between sources of food supplies and hardworking community-based partner agencies who help get the food into the hands of families and individuals who need it. MISSION STATEMENT

The Georgia Mountain Food Bank works to eliminate hunger in the Georgia Mountain Region as a part of an overall community effort to improve the health and quality of life for our citizens.
The Georgia Mountain Food Bank provides an effective system of soliciting and distributing surplus food and grocery products to nonprofit organizations that directly serve the needy.
The Georgia Mountain Food Bank, through advocacy, nutrition education and other public education programs works to eliminate the root causes of hunger.
