shared-blessingsSince 2013, Shared Blessing has been operating out of Lula United Methodist Church distributing meals the first Saturday of each month, rain or shine, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  But they go beyond just distributing meals once a month.  In case anyone comes to the distribution location at another time, they have posted the contact information of five of their volunteers so that they could be contacted and come to make sure that person in need can be served when it is needed the most.

It is the dedication and the spirit that they serve that is also so impressive. They not only help provide food – going the extra mile with gestures like saving a cake each week for one special lady they serve – but also listening to the needs of those that come in and trying to help them in any way they can.  All of this is simply done just in the hopes that they can make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Without GMFB they have no idea where the food they distribute would come from and it is their belief that LOTS of people in North Georgia would be hungry.
