Upon donation you will receive a receipt for tax purposes, or a statement will be sent at the end of the calendar year noting the amount that you have contributed. Is it better to donate food or money?
For every dollar donated, Georgia Mountain Food Bank has the ability to provide five meals (because of our “bulk” buying power). Whether you donate food or money is entirely up to you. No matter what you decide to donate, Georgia Mountain Food Bank will put it to good use by providing nutritious food to those in need.

I want to drop off canned goods. Where do I go?
We appreciate all donations, and in the event that you’d like to provide canned goods, please bring directly to our facility, any time during Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
