“I started volunteering with Georgia Mountain Food Bank because I wanted to make a difference in the community. I can’t imagine not being able to feed my child or having to tell my little one that there is no food to eat. I wanted to be able to do something to help people in this situation. As a mom I hear my little one ask for snacks throughout the day and even at bed time sometimes! Every mom should have the opportunity to feed her children when they are hungry.”
-Michelle Wiley, GMFB Volunteer

We can tailor a volunteer role to accommodate your specific needs and schedule. We can even accommodate large corporate groups and host your “volunteer days” at GMFB. Get everyone involved in helping stock shelves, count inventory and organize the facility. Please note that all volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes for safety reasons.
