Neighborhood Fresh Grocery Delivery Program

Thanks to community partners including United Way of Hall County, Jackson EMC’s Operation Round Up and Milton Martin Honda, GMFB launched its Neighborhood Fresh Grocery Delivery Program in July 2017.

The Neighborhood Fresh Grocery Mobile Program brings high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables in a specialized vehicle to people in need at various community and neighborhood locations. We coordinate with community agencies to identify people in their communities who are unable to come to the Food Pantry due to limited transportation, age, disability, serious illness or extreme poverty. The program delivers to regularly scheduled sites and several pop up sites in Hall County.

In FY23 GMFB distributed 225,352 pounds of food through the Neighborhood Fresh Grocery Delivery Program. GMFB not only delivers the fresh food and produce, but drops off cooking tips and recipes to help improve the eating habits of low-income Georgians who often rely on cheap fast food.
