Agency Spotlight: Under the Bridge Ministries
For two and a half years, Under the Bridge Ministries has been feeding those in need every second Saturday of the month in Lumpkin and the surrounding counties. Most recently, Under the Bridge helped provide meals for a family living in their car that was going without food. In their own words, “We want to say how grateful we are for GMFB. Ya’ll are always there for us and helping us provide food for the needy. Ya’ll are a blessing!”

Who do you serve? We serve Lumpkin and surrounding counties.
When are you open? The 2nd Saturday of each month.
What are your biggest challenges? Not being able to get enough food from the Food Bank.
Why do you do what you do? We love people and want to serve people.
Can you give us a very brief story that comes to mind of how your agency affected a client in your community? A family was living in their car and had no food.
How has the partnership with the Food Bank impacted your operation? The partnership with Georgia Mountain Food Bank has been amazing!
If the Food Bank were not available to you where would you go for product to distribute? We would have to take food donations and buy food from the stores.
