Bowl Painting Parties – Postponed until 2024

Each year, Georgia Mountain Food Bank hosts 1,000 people at Hall County’s largest, and GMFB’s only, fundraising event, the Empty Bowl lunch. Those who attend the lunch receive a hand-painted bowl to take home to remind them of all the empty bowls they are helping to fill by attending the event. Now you can have an impact on hunger by joining in the effort to paint enough bowls so we are ready when the event returns in-person in September!
Every bowl is as unique as the person who paints it, and each brush stroke is symbolic of how each of us individually can help impact the whole picture of hunger in our area. When you paint a bowl, you aren’t receiving your bowl back, but instead, you are helping to send love out in to the community, since each bowl painted comes with a requested $10 donation, which provides 50 meals to our neighbors! And bowl painting parties are the perfect activity for families, companies and individuals wanting to support the Food Bank in a fun and creative way. For more information about bowl painting parties, fill out the inquiry form below or call Araceli Hernandez at araceli@gamountainfoodbank.org or call her at 770-534-4111.
There is a $10 donation per bowl you request to paint. For instance, if you would like to paint 15 bowls, the requested donation would be $150. All money collected goes directly toward our mission.
