Since March 1, Georgia Mountain Food Bank has directly served 274 individuals through our PIN program (People in Need). These individuals contacted our office directly in search of emergency food assistance. This number served is 150 + over the previous month. We are experiencing a very high call volume of people seeking food assistance and we are directing them to food pantries that remain open. To see that list of pantries visit https://www.gamountainfoodbank.org/hall-county/ and to find out ways you can help, visit https://www.gamountainfoodbank.org/covid-19-response/.
