Rotary Club of Hall County works with other groups in support of Georgia Mountain Food Bank

In partnership with the Gainesville Housing Authority, the Rotary Club of Hall County visited the Georgia Mountain Food Bank this week to paint decorative bowls that will be kiln fired and exchanged for donations at this year’s food bank”feed the hungry” fundraiser. The event will be held in September at the First Baptist Church of Gainesville.

Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Hall County annually contribute to the food bank’s fundraiser by offering hand-painted bowls.

Partners with the Gainesville  Housing Authority also provided youngsters from Harrison Square Apartments, Atlanta Street Apartments and Melrose Apartments to assist in the bowl-painting project.
