Publix DonationPublix Driver Tommy Walter delivered 1,192 cases of assorted non-perishable food items to Georgia Mountain Food Bank on Friday, May 4, as part of the company’s “Food for Sharing” campaign. The food weighed in at over 15,000 lbs., which is the equivalent of almost 13,000 meals! The Food for Sharing program runs twice a year, at Easter and Thanksgiving, and provides an opportunity for customers and associates to purchase food for those in need.

Some of those items include Peanut Butter, Jelly, No Salt Added Green Beans, Canned Tuna, Canned Ham, Dry Mashed Potatoes and other staples that will be made available to our 75 Agency Partners who continue to serve the many food insecure individuals & families throughout our five-county service area of Hall, Dawson, Forsyth, Lumpkin & Union. Thank you Publix for your generosity!
